The last day of the qualification round robin of the South America Baseball Championship has been cancelled due to heavy rain falls. But the results of the game scheduled for Friday, 20 April (Bolivia-Argentina, Chile Brazil) were not going to change the outcame. As easily previewed, the final will feature the hosts Argentina and the defending champions Brazil.

The Championship Game will start at 3 pm local time, 8 pm CET, on Saturday 21 April. The winner will advance to the Pan Am Games 2019 in Lima, Peru.
Chile and Bolivia will play for third place at 10 am local time.

Brazil and Argentina will enter the gold medal game after splitting the 2 matchups of the round robin. Argentina won, 3-2, on Sunday, 15 April, and Brasil came from behind to win, 8-6, on Thursday, 19 April.

Brazil and Argentina were tied at 2 when Los Gauchos scored 4 in the top of the eighth against reliever Leonardo Olivera.
Brazil came back to score 6 in the bottom half of the frame, thanks to 4 doubles (Tanaka, Magalhanes, Yun and Kirihara) against Cufré and Robles.
Kitayama pitched the ninth and earned the save for Brazil.
