The USA beat Korea and keep cruising at the top of group A in the Women’s Baseball World Cup. The other two games were scheduled in the afternoon, but never started due to a weather alert

Due to a weather alert, the 2 pm games of Day 3 of the Women’s Baseball World Cup could not start. After a two-hour wait, the games were suspended and will be rescheduled. The start time of the night games is 6.30 pm

Teen age pitchers Lorena Medrano and Angela Burgos led Dominican Republic to the first ever win in the Women’s Baseball World Cup. Canada came from behind to take a 10-7 lead against Cuba in the bottom of the fifth, then the game was called because of rain. Japan crushed Hong Kong
