IWAKI, Japan – Defending U-15 world champions Cuba and host Japan will meet in Sunday’s world championship finale of the III WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup 2016 at Iwaki Green Stadium at 14:40 JST.

Current world No. 1 Japan and No. 5 Cuba have earned the right to compete For the Title of World Champion, finishing atop the 12-nation field that included worlds Nos. 1-7.

World No. 2 United States and No. 17 Panama will meet in the bronze medal match at 10:00 JST.

Guaranteed at least 2nd place, Japan will retain the No. 1 world ranking. The U.S. currently trail Japan by 63 ranking points.
