Official competition ball revealed for WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup 2016

MONTERREY, Nuevo Leon, Mexico – The Official Competition Ball of the inaugural WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup 2016 was revealed today, ahead of Friday’s start to the global tournament.

A count of 4,200 special edition baseballs – Mizuno’s highest quality ball – have been produced for the 50 games of the U-23 world championship in Monterrey.

It is anticipated that 50-60 competition balls will be used per game, many of which will be hit into the seating zones and turn into souvenirs that fans will be able to keep.
