PANAMA CITY, Panama – No. 9 Venezuela has earned a spot in the Pan Am U-23 title game, also becoming the first of four Americas nations to claim a spot in the WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup 2018.

PANAMA CITY, Panama – No. 9 Venezuela has earned a spot in the inaugural Pan American U-23 Baseball Championship title game, becoming the first of four Americas nations to claim a spot in the WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup 2018.

Heading into the critical final day of the Super Round, four nations — No. 6 Mexico, No. 11 Puerto Rico, No. 15 Panama and No. 16 Dominican Republic — are locked in a race for the final three Pan Am tickets to the U-23 Baseball World Cup and a chance to play in the medal round on Sunday for a bigger award of points in the WBSC Baseball World Rankings Presented by ENEOS.
