Phase one of the WBSC African Development Project touches Zambia

Phase one of the WBSC African Development Project touched Zambia after reaching Kenya earlier this Summer. A total of 23 members of the Zambia Softball Baseball Association participated in a course on the management of a sports organization

WBSC took another step along the path set with phase one of the African Development Project (ADP). The seminar on the Management of a Sports Organization reached Zambia.

On Saturday, 27 July, a total of 23 participants attended the course at the University of Zambia, Lusaka. Participants were all selected by the National Softball Baseball Association.

Phase one of the ADP aims at developing managerial skills in the staff on African National Federations and introduces to phase two, that is about the technical growth of the Federation.

Once the National Federation has completed phase one, it’s entitled to go through phase two and host WBSC envoy coaches for two different seminars.

During phase three of the ADP, WBSC will support the National Federations in the organization of events.
