WBSC announces free Live-Streaming for U-23 Baseball World Cup 2016 opening today

The World Baseball Softball Confederation today announced that all 50 games of the WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup® 2016 in Monterrey will be live-streamed globally and free-of-charge for audiences.

MONTERREY, Mexico — The World Baseball Softball Confederation today announced that all 50 games of the WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup® 2016 in Monterrey will be live-streamed globally and free-of-charge for audiences.

The inaugural U-23 world championship, which is the top international baseball tournament of the year and features representatives from six continents, opens today:

Post-game highlights and video-on-demand will also be available to fans worldwide through WBSC’s official social media platforms.

WBSC’s broadcast partner in the U-23 Baseball World Cup host nation is Mexican media giant Televisa.

Last month’s coverage of the LG Presents WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup 2016 attracted viewers from 197 countries and territories through WBSC’s YouTube channel, while the potential broadcast reach surpassed 100 million households.
