World Baseball Classic 2017 to be broadcast across 182 countries/territories for global reach of 415 million

The World Baseball Classic 2017, hosted by MLB and the MLBPA and sanctioned by WBSC, is set to be distributed in 182 countries and territories worldwide for a global potential reach of more than 415 million households.

The World Baseball Classic 2017, hosted by MLB and the MLBPA and sanctioned by WBSC, is set to be distributed in 182 countries and territories worldwide for a global potential reach of more than 415 million households.

In total, 51 media outlets have added the top-tier National Team competition to their portfolios, which will provide premium baseball exposure to new and loyal fans across six continents.

WBSC: “The World Baseball Classic will be one of the most watched international sporting events of the year.”

The world championship tournament runs from 6-22 March and features the top National Teams in the WBSC Baseball World Rankings.
