Baseball and softball were amongst the 30 sports that offered activity for kids in the age bracket 8-15 during the 38th Olympic Week in Lausanne, Switzerland.

The baseball-softball stations involved more than 200 kids in each of the five days of activity. This resulted in a total 1,000 kids experiencing baseball-softball and marks a significant improvement in comparison to 2017. During the 37th edition of the Olympic Museum initiative 675 kids attended baseball-softball activities.

Taylor Eichhorst, the Swiss Baseball National Team head coach, coordinated the activity through three different stations: catch and throw, t-ball hitting, batting cage. He was supported by Cody Bradt, who served as a volunteer during the U-18 Baseball World Cup in Thunder Bay, Canada, and a group of volunteers from the Lausanne Indians, a local club.
