SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic – Every game will count at the inaugural Pan American Baseball Confederation (COPABE) qualifier, where four nations will try to advance to the WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup 2018.
Host Dominican Republic (FEDOBE), Argentina, Mexico and Puerto Rico will all go head-to-head in a round-robin from 23-25 March at the Estadio Quisqueya, home of the pro club Tigres del Licey. Puerto Rico is the only nation of the four to have been on the Women’s Baseball World Cup stage, in 2010.

The top two teams in Santo Domingo will join 10 other nations in Viera, Florida, to compete For the Title of World Champion at the VIII WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup 2018 from 22-31 August at the USSSA Space Coast Complex.
