DAVID, Panama – Two Asian baseball super powers — Japan and Chinese Taipei — will collide in the bronze medal game of the U-15 Baseball World Cup 2018, which is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. local time at Estadio Kenny Serracín, ahead of the 6:00 p.m. all-Americas World Championship Final between Panama and the United States.

World No. 2 Japan will be the home team against world No. 6 Chinese Taipei.

With 2-3 records in the Super Round, Japan and Chinese Taipei were locked in a three-way tie with Cuba, but tie-breaking rules gave the Asian nations the edge, knocking Cuba out of medal contention and into 5th Place.
