Media Accreditation now open for WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup 2018 in Viera, Florida

Baseball’s biggest event for women comes to the U.S. for the first time

Media registration for the VIII WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup® 2018 taking place 22-31 August at the USSSA Space Coast Complex in Viera, Florida, is now available and will remain open until Friday, 10 August.

All members of the media, both local/national and international, who intend to cover the Women’s Baseball World Cup – baseball’s biggest event for women — must apply through the official WBSC Media Accreditation online platform at https://my.wbsc.org.

Media outlets that have not previously registered with WBSC will first need to create a profile at https://my.wbsc.org/?v=request-credentials. (See Registration Guide)

Media credentials will be distributed at the pre-Baseball World Cup press conference and thereafter at the Main Stadium ticketing/box office.

Coverage by Non-Rights Holding TV/RADIO and Crew

• Only rights holders of applicable games may transmit game footage (audio and/or video) of the WBSC Baseball World Cups.
• NRH media credentials provide access to official training sessions, games, mixed zone, press conferences and Opening/Closing Ceremonies.
• Credentials will be granted by specific category (i.e., Press, Photographer, Radio, TV), and access will be granted accordingly.
• Photographers and NRH TV crew will be required to wear bibs.
