Canada became today the fifth qualified nation for the Olympic Games softball competition in Tokyo 2020. The host team secured its ticket with a 7-0, five-innings win over Brazil. Kaleigh Rafter belted a walkoff homerun to center field in the bottom fo the fifth episode and sent Canada to its fifth Olympic Games.

Back to back homers by Quianna Diaz and Carsyn Gordon in the top of the first inning propelled Puerto Rico’s offense to a five-inning, 7-0 victory over Brazil in the second day of the Super Round. Cuba earned today its first win of the Super Round with a 2-1 win over Venezuela.
