WBSC Men’s Softball World Championship to be featured on Olympic Channel

The Olympic Channel will live-stream nearly half of the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Men’s Softball World Championship that opens this Thursday in the Czech Republic.

The Olympic Channel will live-stream nearly half of the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Men’s Softball World Championship that opens this Thursday in the Czech Republic.

The pinnacle men’s softball tournament on the planet will be played from 13-23 June in capital Prague and Havlickuv Brod.

The partnership between the WBSC and the Olympic Channel marks the first time that men’s softball content will be made available on the OTT platform of the International Olympic Committee.

Men’s baseball and women’s softball disciplines are set to make a historic return at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.

“The partnership with the Olympic Channel will showcase the WBSC Men’s Softball World Championship to new audiences and fans who are passionate about sport at the highest level, the Olympic Games,” said the WBSC.

In total, 35 games are scheduled on the Olympic Channel, including the bronze medal game and World Championship Gold Medal Final.
