Premier12 group C Opening Day starters

Managers announced Opening Day starters for group C of the WBSC Premier12 2019.

Canada's manager Ernie Whitt has picked righthander Philippe Aumont, a 30-year old rightander who currently plays for the Ottawa Champions in the independent Canadian-American Association. Aumont played part of four seasons (2012-2015) for the MLB Philadelphia Phillies.
Cuba's Miguel Borroto will give the ball to Carlos Viera, a veteran righthander in the Cuban National League who also pitched in the Venezuelan Winter League.

Australia's manager David Nilsson chose veteran righthander Tim Etherton, one of the top starters in the Australian Baseball League. Etherton has appeared in 102 games at the Minor League level in the USA over a five-year career.
Korea's Kim Kyungmoon picked lefthander Yang Hyeonjong, a 16-game winner in the 2019 KBO regular season. Yang has played for the Kia Tigers for his entire professional career.
