The only two games played on Monday, 2 September, were cut to five innings by rain. The other four games scheduled, have been postponed to Wednesday, 4 September. WBSC revised the schedule for Tuesday, 3 September

Chinese Taipei defeated Japan, 3-1, after a game that was called minutes after left fielder Lo Wie Chieh doubled in the go-ahead runs. It’s the first loss for Japan, that before the game was the only undefeated team in the WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup 2019.
Korea outscored Nicaragua, 9-0. Rain forced the umpire to call also this game after five innings.
Korea opened the score making the most of a couple of errors. Starting pitcher Lee Min Ho was anyway not going to leave any chance to Nicaragua.
WBSC also revealed some adjustments to the schedule of Tuesday, 3 September. The weather forecast advised using only the fields with artificial grass. This is the revised schedule
