The Canadian Baseball U-18 National Team will tour the Dominican Summer League from 17 to 25 May. U-18 Canada will play 13 games against DSL teams of various Major League Baseball (MLB) organizations.

The Dominican Summer League Camp has happened for U-18 Canada every year since 2001.
“It’s a very important component to our U-18 programme,” commented Greg Hamilton, the longtime Head Coach of U-18 Canada “Players will be challenged with a competitive schedule while also dealing with elements in the Dominican Republic that they don’t face at home.”

Baseball Canada named a 26-player roster for the Dominican Summer League. Every player has previous experience on the U-18 programme. In particular, outfielder Dasan Brown, catcher Owen Diodati, pitchers Antoine Jean, Theo Millas, Connor O’Halloran, Raphael Pelletier, Keegan Pulford-Thorpe and infielders TJ Schofield-Sam, Cesar Valero helped Canada win a bronze medal at the U-18 Pan Am Championships 2018 in Panama.

Greg Hamilton will be assisted by coaches Chris Begg, Mike Johnson and Robert Fatal.
