Baseball Softball players' birthdays during the Olympic Games
Australia Softball catcher Belinda White (pictured far left) celebrates her 33rd birthday today (Sunday) and said: “It’s a really special birthday for me this year, couldn’t of wished for a better present than to be here in Tokyo for the Olympics."
A total of 43 baseball softball players
will be celebrating twice in the next weeks, not only for baseball’s and
softball’s historic return to the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020, but also because
they celebrate their birthday around Games time.
In all, 25 baseball players from the six participating nations (Dominican Republic, Israel, Japan, Korea, Mexico and USA) celebrate their birthday before 15 August; while 18 softball athletes from the six countries involved in the competition (Australia, Canada, Italy, Japan, Mexico and USA) also celebrate their birthday during this span.
