WBSC to live-stream all 30 games of the WBSC U-18 Women’s Softball World Cup on YouTube and Facebook

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) today announced that Mexico’s Megacable and the Czech Softball Federation have been awarded exclusive broadcast rights in their respective countries for the WBSC U-18 Women’s Softball World Cup

One of Mexico’s largest telecommunications companies, Megacable has acquired the exclusive rights in the Mexican territory for the WBSC U-18 Women’s Softball World Cup, and is expected to reach millions of viewers through its various channels, including TVC Deportes, TVC Deportes 2 and Megasports. 

CT Sport, Czech Republic’s public service broadcaster digital platform sporting channel, acquired the rights to live stream all Czech Republic games. These games will also be available for Czech Republic residents on th Czech Softball Federation YouTube Channel.

For those territories not covered by WBSC’s broadcast and live-stream partners, all 30 games of the WBSC U-18 Women’s Softball World Cup will be live-streamed and free-to-view on the WBSC’s official YouTube channel and Facebook page.

The top youth international softball tournament starts in Lima, Peru on Monday with the Opening Round taking place from 6-11 December before the World Championship Final slated for 12 December. The eight teams competing for the title of world champion are world No. 2 USA, No. 4 Mexico, No. 5 Puerto Rico, No. 6 Chinese Taipei, No. 10 Netherlands, No. 13 Czech Republic, No. 30 Peru (host) and No. 40 Colombia.
