Lerma will continue as Mexico's Men’s National Team head coach for another season. He took the role in 2012 and led the squad in three World Cups, the latest in 2019, when Mexico finished 11th in the final standings. He also managed the team to a historic bronze medal at the Lima 2019 Pan American Games. His coaching staff is completed by Mario Perez and Roman Perez.

The national governing body also announced the youth women’s softball coaching staffs. The Mexican U-18 Women’s National Softball Team will be managed by Martin Botello and Jorge Corvera, with Nallely Lopez as the assistant coach, while Cesar Alcaraz de Anda will serve as the U-15 head coach and will be assisted by Janet Wilson and Luis Alberto Alcaraz.
