Colquhoun Park in Palmerston North hosted the WBSC U-18 Men’s Softball World Cup 2020. Competing national teams include current world champions and No. 1 Argentina, No. 2 Japan, No. 3 Canada, No. 4 Australia, No. 5 Czechia, and hosts New Zealand - ranked sixth in the world.

The top six ranked men's national softball teams in the world will lock horns over three days at Palmerston North’s Colquhoun Park, from 18-20 November, as a prelude to the XVII WBSC Men's Softball World Cup, set to begin in Auckland on 26 November. 

Competing national teams include current world champions and No. 1 Argentina, No. 2 Japan, No. 3 Canada, No. 4 Australia, No. 5 Czech Republic and hosts New Zealand - ranked sixth in the world. Over the span of three days, the six teams will play a round robin before the top two squads will face off in the final on Sunday 20 at 7:30 pm local time.

Colquhoun Park in Palmerston North, home field of the Manawatu Softball Association, hosted the WBSC U-18 Men’s Softball World Cup 2020, the last men’s softball world cup staged in any category. The venue was transformed for the World Cup, leaving a long-lasting legacy after the tournament

The WBSC Men’s Softball World Cup is set to take place from 26 November to 4 December at Rosedale Park in Auckland, New Zealand.
