VII WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup: Tyler Early earns MVP honours; All-World Team announced

The winning pitcher of the World Championship Final, Tyler Early, earned WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup MVP honours.

"I'm kind of exhausted," commented Early before the Closing Ceremony. "I'm just ready to go celebrate with my family."

The WBSC asked him how he could do everything this well.

"I learned how to hit from both sides and pitch from both sides, so I'm kind of easy going," he said.

Japan's Yusuke Koma earned the Outstanding Defensive Player honours.

Five of the six teams participating in the Super Round were represented in the VII WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup All-World Team.

The United States filled three of the 10 spots with third baseman Zaylon Johnson and outfielders Gavin Goez and Early.

Outfielder Gustavo Talmare and designated hitter Keimel Paul are the two representatives of the Dominican Republic.

The middle infield is All-Venezuelan, with second baseman Alexandro Ladera and shortstop Ezequiel Zamora.

Chinese Taipei showcased the best pitching staff, which was reflected in the selection by the tournament's Technical Commission. The starting pitcher Yu-En Chiu and the relief pitcher Lai Yeh represented Chinese Taipei.
