Eight National Teams are participating in the U-12 Baseball European Championship in Vienna, Austria. The top two finishers will qualify for the VII WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup, scheduled for the summer of 2023.
Defending champions/world No. 17 Italy are pitted against No. 8 Netherlands, No. 37 Lithuania and No. 52 Hungary in Group A.
The hosts/world No. 30 Austria are pitted against No. 14 Czech Republic, No. 18 Germany and No. 22 France in group B.
The top two finishers of each group will play in the semifinals on Friday, 8 July. The winners will compete for the European title in the final, scheduled for Saturday, 9 July, at 6 pm local time.
Italy and the Czech Republic will represent Europe at the VI WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup, set to open in a few weeks on Friday, 29 July, in Tainan, Taiwan.
