Host Czechia beat Italy for the bronze, while Germany finished in fifth and France sixth.

The first two national teams have qualified for the WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup 2023, with the top two teams from Europe having been decided on Saturday in Brno, Czechia.

Spain defeated defending champions Netherlands 6-2 in a rain-shortened final in Brno at the U-18 European Baseball Championship to claim their first-ever continental title in the age category. The final was cut short with one out in the top of the fifth due to heavy rain, after Spain put up five runs in the first two innings. A two-run double by Marc Rodriguez in the first put Spain ahead early. A two-run double by Lluis Badenas and a RBI triple by Eusebio Salas extended their advantage to 5-0 in the second.

Czechia claimed third place in the tournament with a 4-2 win over Italy in the bronze medal game. A three-run home run by Michal Zelenka decided the outcome early in the opening period.

In the semifinals, the Netherlands scored seven runs in the first inning against Czech starter Albert Prazak, cruising to an 8-2 win, while Spain came from behind to defeat Italy, 3-2. Spain first baseman Pablo Costales hit a one-out, walk-off RBI double to end the game in the seventh inning.
