History

Softball has officially begun to play since 1982. At that time there was only a league of men. Later, men began to pay more attention to the baseball men's league. Again, men began playing in 2001. At the present time, after two years, efforts have been made to renew it.
The women's league was played for the first time in 1989 and is still playing.
The Slovak Softball Association has been the ultimate body of sport since 1991.
The most famous clubs in the history of Slovak Softball include – SK Trnava Panthers, BK Apollo Bratislava, MaSK Pezinok, Spiders Bratislava, Crows Košice, Ekonom Bratislava.
