15U BWC: Argentina scores early and often in Victory

Argentina celebrated its second win at the I IBAF 15U Baseball World Championship on Sunday morning, defeating Indonesia 9-2 at Parral Stadium. The South Americans will play another game in the evening, making up Saturday’s rainout against Cuba. Indonesia lost for the third time.

The Gauchos didn’t waste any time, deciding their morning affair. The scored six of their two runs in the first two frames and never looked back en route to the win. They out-hit their opponents 13-2 and never were in danger of losing.

Cristian Yamawaki allowed just one hit in five scoreless inning to pick up the win. Aryo Damar Sadono was charged with the loss, lasting just 1 1/3 innings.
