The Águilas Cibaeñas won Game Seven, 7-4, at Julian Javier Stadium in San Francisco de Macoris. MLB veteran Juan Lagares earned MVP honors.

The Águilas Cibaeñas defeated Gigantes del Cibao in Game Seven of the best-of-seven championship series of the Dominican Professional Baseball League (LIDOM, Liga de Béisbol Profesional de la República Dominicana). It was the first-ever final played between the two clubs.

Águilas celebrated their 22nd league title, which ties them with the Tigres del Licey for the most Dominican league titles.

Manager Felix Fermin, a former MLB All-Star, earned his sixth LIDOM title, thus becoming the skipper with the most wins in the history of the league.

The Águilas were down in the series two games to zero, and then three games to one, but managed to win three in a row. They won Game Seven, 7-4, at Julian Javier Stadium in San Francisco de Macoris.
