Aragua wins Venezuela's U-11 National Baseball Championship

They defeated Miranda in the final. The national federation will use the 20-team tournament to select the team representing World No. 6 Venezuela in the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup.

Aragua defeated Miranda in the final, 13-5, and claimed the Venezuelan U-11 National Baseball Championship.

Aragua was trailing after the first inning, 4-0, but was able to cut the gap scoring two in the bottom of the third and got the lead with a seven-run fourth inning.

Yosneyber Vera went 4-for-4 with three runs batted in and pitched 1.2 innings to close the game.

Ayverson Torrealba went 3-for-3 and Franller Mayoa went 2-for-4 with a home run.

Distrito Capital finished third and Lara followed in fourth place.

The U-11 National Championship consisted of three different rounds. A total of 20 teams participated in the event.

The Venezuelan Baseball Federation (FEVEBEISBOL) will select the U-12 National Team amongst the top participating players.
