WAPDA finished second, Islamabad third in a 10-team tournament played in Rawalpindi, Punjab.

The Army team defeated WAPDA, 7-0, in the final of the 24th Pakistan National Baseball Championship, while Islamabad beat the Police team, 3-0, in the bronze medal game

Ten teams participated in the tournament, which took place from 11-17 October at the Army Cricket Ground in Rawalpindi, a 3.3 million city in the Punjab Province.

The Army dominated the tournament, outscoring its opponents 93-3 in five games.

Earlier this year, the Pakistan Federation Baseball (PFB) announced that the Pakistan National Baseball Team will compete in the 2022 Asian Games, which be held in Hangzhou, China.
