The team will compete at the 2012 IBAF 18U Baseball World Championships in Seoul, South Korea, from 30 August to 8 September.

Following a very successful six week Major League Baseball Australian Academy on the Gold Coast, the Australian Baseball Federation is pleased to announce the National 18U Team that will compete in South Korea next month.

The team boasts twelve players who have signed with major league clubs, and a tight-knit group following their win at the 18U Oceania Championships earlier this year in Guam.

National Youth Head Coach Tony Harris is excited by this roster of players;

“The team has come together well throughout the academy (MLBAPP) this past six weeks.  They are a young team but I am confident they will represent Australia well and hopefully come back with a successful result”
