The IBAF Umpiring Commisision will hold an Umpire Camp in Barcelona, Spain. The Camp will open on July 10 and close on July 14, 2013.

The Camp will take place in Barcelona at Montjuic field.

As for the previous edition in Tirrenia, the camp is organized with the aim of providing all umpires with the opportunity to learn and further develop proper mechanics and what is needed to umpire the game at the top international level.

The accommodation in double room will be provided at the Ciutat de Castelldefels – in Castelldefels, Barcelona  and the cost is included in the registration fee of 300 Euros.

The instructors of the camp will be Gustavo Rodriguez (IBAF Umpires Director), Marco Screti (IBAF Umpires Commission Member for Europe) and Michael Ulloa (World Baseball Classic Umpire)

For air travel the use of Barcelona El Prat airport is recommended but a pick up service will be organized also from Barcelona train station.

The deadline is April 27th, 2013.

Umpires that successfully complete the training program will be certified as IBAF Umpires.

The certification allows an opportunity to work future IBAF events. However, it does not guarantee an IBAF assignment.
