Baseball part of biggest-ever 8th Micronesian Games program

CNMI, Guam, Korsrae, Palau and Pohnpei will all be represented.

KOLONIA, Pohnpei — Baseball is one of fourteen sports making up the largest programme in the history of the Micronesia Games, which are being staged in the Federated States of Micronesia.

The Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) and Guam will meet in the baseball semifinal on Saturday, 26 July, with the winner securing at least a silver medal.

Game results, stat leaders and the program schedule can be followed online with the digital scoreboard.

Guam has the highest ranked National Team in the tournament, and is ranked No. 3 in Oceania, behind No. 1 Australia and No. 2 New Zealand.
