Baseball5 will be included in the programme of the Arnold Classic Africa Festival, a multi sport event created by actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and staged in Johannesburg, South Africa, from Friday, 18 May, until Sunday, 20 May.

Baseball5 events are scheduled for Friday (Festival for boys and girls under the age of 13 and for boys under the age of 12) and Sunday (U-12 and U-15 club competition).
The Festival will include also tee ball, hit and pitch exhibitions for boys and girls and baseball/softball competition for men and women over the age of 40.

The Arnold Sport Festival made his debut in South Africa in 2016. It is organized in partnership with the Gauteng Provincial Government.

The Arnold Sport Festival grew around the Arnold Classic, a body building competition.
Before becoming a movie star, Schwarzenegger (who was born in Thal, Austria, in 1947) was a legendary bodybuilder. He earned 5 times Mister Universe honors and was awarded 7 times the title of Mister Olympia.

The Arnold Sport Festival hosts multi sport events on 6 Continents. Other Festivals are held in Columbus (Ohio, USA), Melbourne (Australia), Brazil, Hong Kong and Spain.
