The Chilean migrant community gathered at San Borja Park in Santiago on Sunday, March 17, to celebrate International Women's Day with a Baseball5 tournament.

The eight participants split into two groups and played 15 games. In the final, LCBM (Chilean Minor Baseball League) defeated Los Menores 9-8. Nohely Osto (Las Menores) earned MVP honours.

Las Lomas finished third.

Calacras, Buddy Club, Athletics, Cocodrilos and Master Club also participated.

The tournament is part of the Baseball5 Tierra initiative, coordinated by Jesus David Villaroel and supported by the Municipality of Santiago and private companies such as Globalve with the Malta Caracas brand.

It's the second tournament included in the Baseball5 Tierra initiative after the Malta Caracas Cup, which was included in the initiatives connected to the International Environmental Education Day.
