The Belgium Baseball and Softball Federation (KBBSF-FRBBS) is revitalizing The Belgium Baseball Cup. The main goal, as the Federation makes clear through a release, is “Baseball and Softball promotion in Belgium and Europe”.
Participation was mandatory for all the Gold League and First Division teams. Second and Third Division teams that entered the competition made it at their will.
A total of 16 teams played in the first round on 21 May.
Round 2 is scheduled for 17 July, while round 3 will be played on 31 July.
The final is scheduled for the afternoon of 15 August 2018. It will be preceded by an international softball slowpitch game (Belgium versus All Stars) and followed by a Gentlemen’s League game, featuring former National Team and First Division players.
