Bhutan hits home run on World Baseball Softball Day, wins $10,000 equipment grant

The Bhutan Baseball & Softball Association was the winner of a World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) $10,000 equipment grant for the best activation to celebrate World Baseball Softball Day. Bhutan’s theme ‘Happiness Hits Home’ highlighted the impact of baseball and softball in uniting communities and spreading joy across the nation.

In a heartfelt video, Bhutan’s youth sent warm greetings to the global baseball and softball community, alongside its officials who expressed gratitude to the WBSC for its support.

The post not only kicked off the festivities of World Baseball Softball Confederation’s 10th year anniversary, but also highlighted Bhutan’s creativity and enthusiasm to participate in the special celebration.

The Asian nation bagged the $10,000 equipment grant, which would not only enhance the level of the sport, but also inspire the youth to increase its participation in the sport.
