The cooperation between the Italian Blind Baseball Association and the UK Blind Baseball Association produced a clinic and hopes of a new team.

The collaboration between the Italian Association Baseball for the Blind (AIBxC) and the UK Blind Baseball Association is helping further develop Blind Baseball in Wales.

Nathan Potts and John Eaton held a clinic in Barry, a port town on the Bristol Channel in southern Wales, 11 kilometres from Cardiff.

The clinic was staged in partnership with South Wales Youth Baseball & Softball - RBI Wales and 360 ability sport and Steve Jones with local support from the Vale Sports Development and Sight Life associations.

The blind players and their assistants received a certification at the end of the clinic.

A press release by AIBxC states that the next step would be creating a new blind baseball team in Wales.
