The tournament, scheduled from 16 to 19 November in Sofia, will serve as a qualifier for the first-ever WBSC Youth Baseball5 World Cup.

WBSC Europe announced that the Bulgarian Baseball and Softball Federation would host from 16 to 19 November in Sofia the first-ever U-17 Baseball5 European Championship.

The Sofia Sports Hall will host the event under the patronage of Radostin Vasilev, Bulgarian Minister of Youth and Sports.

The U-17 Baseball5 European Championship will serve as a qualifier for the inaugural WBSC Youth Baseball5 World Cup.
