Charros de Jalisco win the Mexican Pacific League

In the seventh game of the final series, they defeated Tomateros de Culiacan 8-1. WBSC Premier12 alum Brennar Bernardino earned MVP honours.

The Charros de Jalisco defeated defending champions Tomateros de Culiacan in game seven of the final series, 8-1, to claim the Mexican Pacific League (LMP) title. It's their second pennant since they joined the league.

Charros starter Brennan Bernardino went eight innings, allowing only one run on four hits, including a solo home run by Tomateros first baseman Joey Meneses, and earned MVP honours.

The 29-year old left-hander pitched out of the bullpen in five games for Mexico at the WBSC Premier12 2019, including the third-place game against the USA.

The Charros took the lead in the second, scoring three runs against starter Manny Barreda, another WBSC Premier12 alumnus.

They didn't need to look back, as their offence produced 14 hits. Catcher Fernando Flores went 4-for-4 with two RBIs. Center fielder and lead-off hitter Jose Aguilar went 3-for-4 with two RBIs.
