Chihuahua defeated Taumalipas, 7-2, in the final of the Mexican U-18 National Baseball Championship in Aguascalientes.
The Mexican Baseball Federation (FEMEBE) organized the championship in collaboration with the State Association of Baseball and the Sports Institute of the State of Aguascalientes (IDEA).
Sixteen teams representing the various states participated in the tournament. The teams were split into two groups and played a seven-game round robin phase. The top finishers of each group played for the title, the number two seeds competed for third place.
Nuevo Leon defeated Baja California, 3-2, to claim third place.
