Cuba's Baseball5 National Teams dominated the exhibition games against Jamaica played at the Sports City Coliseum from 27 to 29 June. The defending World Champion National Team defeated the Youth National Team, a pre-selection for the WBSC Americas Youth Baseball5 World Cup Qualifier, in the final, 6-2.
"These exhibitions strengthened the relations between Cuba and Jamaica," commented Eros Bernal Morales, the Baseball5 Technical Director in Cuba. "We value Baseball5 development in the Caribbean."
He added on a final note: "This tournament also gave us a chance to watch our National Team take the field after winning the inaugural Baseball5 World Cup."
