Some of the Czech Republic Baseball Association's (CBA) top 16-year-old pitchers have gathered as part of the federations' LA 2028 project, looking to prepare athletes for a run at qualifying for the baseball competition at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

The LA 2028 project, which was launched in November, is aimed at young pitchers from the age of 16. The project should be the culmination of a comprehensive program to support pitchers - Pitching Prospect Program - and provide them with similar conditions as the senior national team players with the aim to integrate them more easily into the men's national team in the years to come.

Meanwhile, the Czech U-15 National Team manager Filip Prochazka conducted a camp in Barcelona, Spain for 28 players where they worked on athletic preparation each day with trainer Bara Prochazkova. They then turned to baseball activity, with pitchers experiencing multi-day throwing activity and hitters working in cages and traditional batting practice. Fielders had the opportunity to alternate natural and artificial surfaces.

The Czech U-15 National Team also played four warm-up games against U-15 and U-18 selections of the Catalonia Region.
