Didier Seminet re-elected president of the French Baseball Softball Federation

"I'm looking forward to 2024 and an exciting cycle leading up to the 100th anniversary of our federation," he commented.

Didier Seminet has been re-elected as the president of the French Baseball Softball Federation (FFBS, Fédération Françaisede Baseball et Softball).

"I'm honoured by the renewed trust of the French Baseball and Softball community," commented Seminet. "It's been an honour to preside over FFBS for the last 10 years, during which we have gained 50% more members and launched so many development initiatives.

Seminet said he's looking forward to 2024 and the 100th anniversary of the French Baseball and Softball Federation.

FFBS' Board of Directors will be elected on 6 April.

At the world level, France is currently ranked No. 25 in baseball, No. 18 in women's baseball, No, 25 in women's softball, according to the WBSC World Rankings.

Under Seminet's leadership, France won the inaugural European Baseball5 Championship in 2020, and in 2019, France launched their Women's National Baseball Team, which won the inaugural European Women's Baseball Championship.
