Dutch Baseball National Team players to hold clinics for youth teams

"The goal of these clinics is to strengthen the relation between club activity and the top level," said the Dutch Baseball Softball Federation.

The Royal Dutch Baseball Softball Federation (KNBSB) opened on Saturday, 13 January, a series of 14 clinics for youth teams and their coaches held by the baseball National Team players. The series of clinics will run through 25 February.

"The goal of these clinics is to strengthen the relation between club activity and the top level," stated KNBSB in a release.

The first two clinics were hosted by Robur 58 in Apeldoorn and HSCN in Nuenen. The rest of the programme includes clinics hosted by the Hawks in Dordrecht, Bedrock in Emmen, Blue Birds in Delft, Portland Poemas in Rotterdam, Cheetahs in Beek Limburg, Wassenaar in Wassenaar, Blue Hawks in Zwolle, Alphians in Alphen aan de Rijn, Grizzlies in Zoetermeer, Red Caps in Leusden, Panters in Tiel and Hazenkamp in Nijmegen.

Shairon Martis, Orlando Intema, Tom de Blok, Scott Prins, Mike Groen, Kevin Kelly, and Ryan Huntington are the players involved.

KNBSB is impressed by the number of applications and plans to add more clinics after the conclusion of the first series.
