Dutch pitcher Sem Robberse represents Europe at MLB Futures All-Star Game

The 21-year-old righthander is currently playing at the Double-A level for the Toronto Blue Jays.

Dutch prospect Sem Robberse was the only European player participating in the Futures All-Star Game. The Toronto Blue Jays right-hander gave up consecutive singles to open the sixth, then he struck out BJ Murray swinging and left.

Born in 2001 in Zeist, Robberse debuted in the Dutch top league (Hoofdklasse) in 2018. He signed for the Toronto Blue Jays in 2019. He is on the Double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats roster for the 2023 season.

The National League won the Futures All-Star Game, 5-0.
