In the semifinals, Germany eliminated two-time defending champions Italy, 5-1, while the Czech Republic beat the other continental powerhouse, the Netherlands, 6-1.
World No. 8 Netherlands defeated No. 17 Italy, 12-5, in the bronze medal game.
World No. 18 Germany and No. 14 Czech Republic became the first National Teams to qualify for the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup 2023.
The WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup 2023 will be the tournament's seventh edition. The sixth U-12 Baseball World Cup is scheduled from 29 July to 8 August in Tainan, Taiwan.
