Uganda Baseball and Softball Association: Felix Okuye elected new President

Felix Okuye succeeds Dennis Kazosi, who commented: "I'm very happy to see new leadership come to develop and grow the game."

Felix Okuye is the new President of the Uganda Baseball and Softball Association. He was elected along with a new Executive Committee on Tuesday.

"I am really happy to see new leadership come to develop and grow the game," commented former President Dennis Kazosi. "I have pledged my support to them."

"Your presidency comes with great responsibilities in a moment where more than ever the Olympic Movement is focusing on Africa," wrote WBSC President Riccardo Fraccari to Okuye in his congratulations letter. "For our community, the recent addition of Baseball5 in the Youth Olympic Games Dakar 2022 provides even further opportunities for the development of baseball and softball and I trust the Uganda Baseball and Softball Association will take advantage of this great moment for our sport."

The Executive Committee serving under Okuye includes vice president Emmanuel Kabambi, secretary general Esther Nakabugo, treasurer Betty Nalumansi, technical secretary baseball Ogama Martin, publicity secretary Elvis Owira, disciplinary chairperson Patricia Nalyanya. The chair for the technical secretary softball is still vacant.
