Hannah Flippen and Taylor Pleasants homered in USA's win over Canada, 10-2, Monday night to close Group A at The World Games. Dejah Mulipola drove in three for the US squad.
Mulipola put USA in front with a two-run single in the second inning. An inning later, the home team added three runs on an RBI single by Charla Echols, a bases loaded hit by pitch and a defensive error.
Canada’s only two runs came in the fourth inning, via a two-run home run by Kianna Jones.
USA then exploded in the fifth with an RBI by Mulipola and pair of two-run home runs off the bats of Flippen and Pleasants.
