Freeman shows no mercy, even if opposing pitcher is his son

The video of the MLB Atlanta Braves slugger hitting a home-run on a pitch by his three-year-old son went viral.

At age 30, Freddie Freeman is a Major League Baseball (MLB) star. The first-baseman made his debut for the Atlanta Braves during the 2010 season and since then he has been selected to four All-Star games (2013, 2014, 2018, 2019), has earned both the Gold Glove (2018) and the Silver Slugger awards and has hit for the cycle (2016).

Freeman is also the father of three-year-old Charlie. Staying safe at home during the coronavirus outbreak, the Freemans went viral on social media thanks to the video of daddy showing no mercy to Charlie's attempt at pitching.

A sixth-generation member of the Salvation Army, Freeman reportedly donated US$ 125,000 to go toward the COVID-19 emergency.

Freeman was born in California, but both of his parents are from Ontario, Canada. He played for USA's U-18 National Team and represented Canada in the 2017 World Baseball Classic.
