Garibaldy Bautista re-elected as president of Dominican Softball Federation

Bautista will continue as the Dominican Softball Federation leader until 2026.

Garibaldy Bautista was unanimously re-elected as president of the Dominican Softball Federation (Federacion Dominicana de Softbol, FEDOSA) for another four-year term. The election was held on Saturday, 11 December, in Santo Domingo, and Bautista received support from the 32 delegates present in the assembly.

Bautista will be joined by Juan Luis Medina, Nelson Well and Euclides Javier Santana as first, second and third vice-presidents respectively. José Altagracia Arias Alcántara is the secretary general and Felipe de Jesús Rodríguez Cordero is the co-secretary.

“We’ll keep working on the technical projects, in the education of our athletes and to focus on the qualifier in Argentina, with five spots at stake for the Pan American Games and four for the World Cup,” expressed Bautista.

Bautista was elected FEDOSA President in 2013. It will be his third term in Dominican softball's highest position.
